Stainless Steel Wire Mesh
Stainless steel woven mesh is the workhorse of industrial filtration and screening. Anping factories weave it from 1 mesh (heavy quarry screen) down to 635 mesh (pharmaceutical-grade), in rolls typically 1 m wide × 30 m long.

What to specify when ordering
- Grade: 304 or 316 (ask for a material test certificate — MTC)
- Mesh count and wire diameter in mm (avoid gauge-only specs)
- Weave: plain, twill (for >100 mesh heavy wire), or Dutch weave
- Roll width and length; edges selvage or cut
- Quantity in m² or kg — factories quote per kg for woven mesh

How is woven mesh priced?
By weight (USD/kg) plus weaving complexity. Finer mesh with thin wire costs more per kg because weaving is slower. Dutch weave is the most expensive.
Typical MOQ?
Stock specs: 1 roll. Custom spec: usually 100–500 m². Anping factories are flexible on first orders to win long-term buyers.
How do I verify it's real stainless steel?
Request MTC from the wire rod batch, and do a spot PMI test or magnet check on samples (304 is weakly magnetic after cold drawing — a strong magnet sticking hard suggests low-grade steel).
